Big Beautiful Women~The Signature of Our Curvature
Recent conversations with full-figured sisters and the men who salivate over them, suggests that there is nothing sexier and more poised than a confident, plus-sized woman; one, who reigns over her regions, yet acknowledges and respects her boundaries.
Yet,truth be told, her boundaries have since fanned out beyond the lines of yester-years verdict of what beauty is "supposed" to be, into a renovated place of self acceptance, attitude and grace.
As a full-figured woman gliding through doors previously cordoned off by commercialism, I feel decreasingly unfettered by the popular parallels of what defines dainty, and sets corporate stigmas of what is acceptable. And, because of this I am being received in the fullness of what I have to offer- mind, body and soul in a world that radiantly reflects the feelings that I harbor about myself.
Yes, from where I sit a revolutionary emanation has risen to the surface, encasing and embracing the curves that we've daringly, begun to wear so well. If you doubt my analysis perhaps the world of entertainment will bare a far more convincing witness...
An out picture of embracing "the skin we're in" can be witnessed in such celebrities as: Jennifer Coolidge, Monique, Adele, Jill Scott, Queen Latifa and Gabourey Sidibe. ...And although these women may have never intended to become role models for the full-figured community, their curvature has become our signature on the dotted line of equality. They have spoken into a universal megaphone making it loud and clear that beauty, depth, intelligence, success and grace comes in all shapes and sizes!
The Sex Appeal
The sex appeal of our bold delicacies that have come to rest so well on the palates of those who require something "extra" is emerging and flowing into the mainstream of preferences.
Personally, I've found that men (especially) are coming from a place of fearless perspective where their full-figured lovers are concerned. No longer are they quietly desiring the ample pleasures, but boldly approaching-partaking...
Stigmas of the past are powerless to hold us back from our unique-ness, our beauty, our esteem. We are free to love ourselves and others-As we should.
